SENIOR DOG PROJECT
What We Do
We connect senior people to senior dogs by assessing the desires of the senior citizen such as what size, breed and activity level.
This program is based on an approved
foster application.

What's Included
Food (as needed) and supplies (collars, leash, food bowls, etc.)
Follow-up visits (as needed) by our Senior Outreach Coordinator.
Additional training if necessary.
If at anytime a senior can not care for a dog it will have a place at the shelter.
Veterinary services will be provided by our in-house vet as needed. In an emergency situation, the shelter will assist with the costs of emergency care.
